also are you required to lose any weight before the surgery or are you required to do a liquid diet? and for how long?

Im wanting to get the Vertical sleeve through naval hospital (balboa) and im going to see my pcm tomorrow to ask for a ref. hopefully i get one. because i really want this surgery to have as a tool. but i was wondering if you got your date and what all the tests were you had to get?

i also live in the san diego area and have tricare. did you ever find out any information about the sleeve being covered. or have u checked out balboa hospital. do u know how i would go about maybe getting a referral to be seen there?
