I am also having surgery 5/23 with Dr. Alvarez in MX. My BMI is low enough so he said I didn't need a pre-op diet but I'm doing it anyway! There is a web site where you can order individual sample sizes of popular protein drinks. www.vitalady.com. I ordered some a few weeks ago. They come in 2oz sample sizes. I kept track of which ones I liked and which ones I didn't. Good luck!

I was anxious and embarassed the first time I ever took my CPAP with me. I got over it really quick. They are only interested in the machine itself, not the mask or tubing. If you put it in your carry on luggage, be prepared to slip it out and put it in a bin by itself. Sometimes they remove it and scan it with the little cloth that detects the explosives, but most of the time it just goes right on through the Xray and I pick it up on the other side. Good luck
