  1. Hi all- i have never blogged before, nor have i joined a group! thanks for setting this up. My surgery was August 10th.the week after was pretty painful i.e. gas. I could barely get all my fluids in. Towards day6 and7 i started to feel rejuvinated and like a new person (detoxed all the junk/salt/sugar/fat??).On day eight i was to start mushed food. i did ok but at dinner i took a small bite of lasagna and chewed it etc. and all was fine. today i ate tuna and tonight tacos and a cup of orange sherbert. i know this is not proper- i did not prepare for this phase. i will pull it together. my question/concern is: why am i able to eat "normal" food and not be in pain or get sick? Any ideas? Thanks much.
