  1. I've been reading this board for a while, so I thought I would introduce myself. I'm just getting started on the bandwagon. I'm a 34-year-old single mom of a 1-year-old. Today, at my first visit with the surgeon, I weighed in at 301 pounds. Sweet baby Jesus, I can't believe that number. I've been heavy all my life, but never this big. So, I decided to do something about it and I choose the band. It seems the best for me. I had my first meeting with the surgeon today. On Friday I meet with the nutritionist for the first time. I have to do 3 months with a nutritionist. Can anyone tell me what does the nutritionist have me do?? I also have to make an appointment for a psych eval. Also, what do they want to know? And Saturday morning I'm getting a blood test and will be handing in my stool sample (I just gagged). So there it is. I'm super excited to get going!! Megan
