  1. hi, so happy to have found this forum. Went to the seminar tonight. I am just going to make the BMI. I was wondering if anyone know about the likelyhood would have to do 6 month diet? I have lost the same 30 pounds(needed to lose 60) over the past ten years, with diet pills most successfully. I work as a nurse in the same hospital as the Drs that would be doing (hopefully) my surgery. My questions also are, do I go to Dr to have blood work done etc before I go in for a consultation, or wait to have them perform these tests? I do have several medical issues, that per peers at work would likely qualify me for the band. Seems like a hard process, one I am willing to go thru, as I feel I lose the weight, and gain it back, wwight keeps gooing up , endless cycle, and very unhealthy in the long term I have to admit, I have avoided going to the Dr for regular check ups and screenings due to having gained weight, so was wondering where I should start?
