  1. my last visit to the band dr. was 6 months after my surgery. that would be 3+ years ago. I am located in Germantown Maryland. I had my surgery about 10 miles from here.
  2. I do. I have had the band since 06. I started at 288. I lost 85 lbs in the first year. I wanted to lose a total of 140 lbs. In the last 8 months or so. I throw up after every meal. I am in pain after I eat no matter what I eat. I sometimes hurt so bad I make myself throw up. You would think that I would be at goal like that but noooooo I am back up to 265. I think because it hurts so bad to eat that I end up with cold smooth food for relief...ie.. ice cream, sherbet, puddings... My husband now is after me every day to find out what it will cost to get the band removed. I am miserable all the time now. I have recently started with heartburn (which I NEVER had before). I am more depressed now than when I started. I feel awful all the time. I dread mealtimes. Any advise of any kind will be greatly appreciated. I don't know what happened but I do know that I can't live like this. Laura:sad:
