  1. My doctor skips pureee and goes straight to sift foods. I started soft foods day five after surgery and I’m quite fine. Now three weeks out
  2. You really don’t need anything if you’re not staying over night. Just bring comfort clothes to pull on when you’re leaving.
  3. I was on clear liquids for a week and wasn’t hungry. After clear liquids we went straight to soft foods so no liquid phase for me. I’m still not hungry. Savory foods taste better after gastric surgery so focus on broths. Maybe make a red bean soup and blend the peas. Sweet foods are yucky to me too.
  4. You were filled with fluid the day of surgery so you will be bloated for a couple days. Plus your body is still adjusting. It is not advised you weigh yourself before 4-6 weeks
  5. Thanks will give it a try
  6. Had surgery yesterday . Gas pains are killing me. Any suggestions other than walking?
  7. I’m scheduled for sleeve 10/19
