  1. I had my surgery 12/20/20. I was doing well until I had a near fatal car accident on 8/9/21. I had a head injury and am still in a wheelchair. I regained all the weight I lost. I really need support. How can I get back on track. My surgeon does not have a support group. I am getting occupational therapy, physical Therapy and speech therapy. But since I cannot walk without support and I still cannot drive. I will begin therapy with a psychologist hopefully she can help me with depression and possibly my eating disorder. What do you recommend I do? Sent from my SM-A716U using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Hello, I had my surgery on 12/8/2020. I am 67 years old, 5"6. I was unable to walk due to a broken ankle and surgery to reconstruct it in May 2020. I also have thyroid disease and osteoarthritis in both knees. So having a gastric sleeve was my last resort. I began to gain weight at 40 and became diabetic at 45. My highest weight was 310lbs. My surgery was without complications. But I am not losing weight as I thought I would. There was no support from my surgeon after the sleeve. I was just on my own. So I decided to get counselling for my eating disorder and depression. This is a slow process. I am hoping for the best. I am thankful for this site as I know I am not alone. SW 289 GW 160 CW 257 I have been stuck here since March. I know I have eating habits that must change. But I love to snack on salty and crunchy . I do not eat sugar, rice, bread, or most carbs. Most days I only eat two meals. I begin with protein. I do drink a protein shake for breakfast. My diabetes is in remission. I am now walking without support. I go to physical Therapy for my knees and ankle twice a week and also have water therapy. That is my exercise. I just wish my weight loss would get going.
