I’m 10 months post op and I STILL have to take small sips. It takes me a full work day to drink my smaller jug of water(it’s maybe 32 oz total or 24 I’m not sure) but I have to take small sips or it’ll hurt really bad. Hang in there! Congrats btw !

Hi, thank you for commenting . Going through this is rough. Ive learned I'm definitely one of very few, that has experienced any of the difficulties I've encountered since day of. I went to my primary care physician today and they did blood work to check everything they possibly can. The nausea daily, and/or vomiting, has made me depressed. So I'm hoping and praying they can figure out what's going on. I'm sorry you're still dealing with the nausea! Its awful! Thank you again for your kind words!

Still great though ! Proud of you ! I took so much longer to recover.i was sleeved 11/15/19 and I'm down 43 pounds. It's been slow . But your loss is amazing ! Congrats on the sleeve!! [emoji126]

I haven't taken comparison photos. I tend to steer clear of that just because I'm still working on self image etc. But I know I lost weight (when I didn't think I did) because I had my Drs appointments in the last couple weeks and I was told my weight was down from before surgery weigh in. So that was an exciting thing to hear. I'm not sure if I've lost still but I'm active. But even the weight I lost, my clothes(ones I wore before surgery) aren't loose or seem to be loosening up.. so it's very confusing and discouraging.

Im 4 months post op... And I've only lost 36 pounds so far but I'm discouraged because my old clothes STILL fit and aren't loose on me.. I don't see a difference at all... Ugh... It's honestly depressing...

Lol!!! Omg that's great !! And I recently can only have (for main food) hard boiled eggs and grilled chicken. Everything else makes me have a hypoglycemic episode and then I'm sick like I have the flu

It's awful! I'll be fine, and then all of a sudden I'll start feeling "off" and it'll hit me to where ill feel like I'm sick with the flu.. the dizziness/head spin feeling, feeling tired and really nauseous and sometimes vomiting. It's awful

I had surgery 11/15/19, and I don't drink anything or eat anything with sugar. That I'm aware of anyways. I'm not a sweets person. But I've had 3 episodes in the last few weeks. Not sure what's causing it. And I read that you need to go to the Dr when you're having an episode/symptoms otherwise it's hard for them to diagnose it. But it hits me randomly and it hits me pretty hard to where I had I'm out for the count the rest of the day with feeling sick and dizzy ? it's a horrible feeling ? . Glad I'm not alone. I use sugar free water flavoring. Or lemon juice. I try to drink 64 ounces a day but even that's been difficult since surgery because of taking smaller sips(not as small as right after surgery, but small to prevent discomfort). But I've been working on it ?

It's been discouraging. But glad to know it's normal . I've been sticking to everything though so hopefully it'll continue to drop. Thank you !

I don't even own a scale ? I refuse. I go by how close fit etc. But I feel like I should be melting. But I was also told that you'll melt the bigger you are before surgery. I was 248( I'm only 5'2") so I'm short and was considered obese and had health problems prior. Maybe that's it ? no clue . But it is upsetting. But I'm keeping head up ! Thank you so much !!

Lol well count me in ? any tips from anyone on how to get pass the slow losing stage?

I don't feel like I'm losing much weight.. others said they "notice" a difference.. but I can't tell at all.. which is rather discouraging.. I had my surgery on 11/15/19.. does losing weight hit some kind of peak a few weeks out and then start up again..or ?? Ahhh[emoji17]
