  1. @linda72 - you and I are surgery twins. Sounds like things are going really well for you. Yesterday was absolutely awful for me. I would get these waves of nausea and vomit, but there was nothing there. It was really bad, but I feel so much better today. Went our for two walks this afternoon and actually finished a protein shake today. Will focus more on water tomorrow. A little worried that my bowels aren’t moving yet ... yours?
  2. Had my surgery at about noon today. I had no real gas pain to speak of, but the worst headache ever. I do get migraine and this threw me into a big one. For the dialaudid and it knocked me out. Been sleeping a lot today, but have made good laps around the hospital and I’m feeling strong. Only had one bout of nausea and it passed pretty quickly. Been able to sip on water, diet cranberry juice and ice. The sore throat from the intubation is a little rough too, but the ice chips help. Hoping the next few days go this smoothly!

  4. October 14th too. Brand new to this site. On day 2 of liquid diet. I did the shake diet a few years ago and I had apparently forgotten how hard it is. Looking forward to not being starved!
