  1. I’m 45 and got sleeves on 8/2. I’m glad I did it now. My kids are grown and out of the house so I can plan meals for me without worrying about their nutrition needs. I also think I appreciate it more now as a lifestyle change.
  2. I was 2 weeks post op on 8/16 and I was on clear liquids for 2 weeks then on to puréed food for 2 weeks. My first “meal” was a scrambled egg. Since then I’ve had puréed cooked carrots, mashed potatoes and turkey meatloaf plus some soft cheese (Babybel or Laughing Cow). My boyfriend even made ribs last night and I puréed them. Probably not the best choice because of the fat. I move to soft solids in 2 weeks then mechanical solids for 2 weeks then all food at the 60 day mark.
