I am a 28 year old. Have had weight issues all my life. No matter what I did staying active I always gained weight. I was a football player, baseball, even did weight lifting but despite it my weight always fluctuated. By 18 a doctor told me "you will die by 35-40 tops." But no one ever wanted to do more. It was just oh your fat. I also have had sleeping issues all my life as well and didn't know why. When I was 24 I went to job corps and soon was kicked out for my horrible undiagnosed at the time sleep apnea and falling asleep uncontrollably. Turns out after meeting with a new determined doctor I had sleep apnea with 146 events an hour and Narcolepsy w/O catoplexy. Now 4 years of jumping through loops and hoops as well as doing all insurance has asked I have now received my surgery.
