I have always been considered 'thick' or 'big boned'.  I'm starting to wonder what it will be like to no longer have that 'characteristic' as part of my identity.

I'm now a mother of two very energetic little girls and I am looking forward to having the freedom to play with them pain free.  I weigh 220, my highest was 230, & I'm 5'2".  I have chronic pain and most of the docs I've been to usually blame it all on weight.  I tend to disagree, but I do hope at minimum weight loss will decrease my pain and get them to take a closer look.

I am hoping 'Fingers & toes crossed' to have surgery in April.  Seems like a rush considering my last weigh in is next week  3/21/12, but I'm thinking positive thoughts.
