So I made my first mistake last night.. I was banded 10 days ago and still have 4 days of liquid diet and let me tell you I cannot wait for soft food.. Anyway my Dr told me 2 weeks of liquids are a must because if i eat and it get's stuck and i get sick i might rip my stitches the band could slip and we would have to do it again... I have done really well until last night my family had dinner and stupid me ate 1 brussel sprout and well guess what it got stuck and i didn't really throw up but it came back up.. now I'm scared I messed up my band... has anyone else thrown up in there first 2 weeks and were they ok? what would happen if i got the stomach flu? I have totally learned my lesson but I could use a little piece of mind...
