Dr. Mubashir Sabir is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Central Michigan Community Hospital. Dr. Sabir has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 18 of our members have Dr. Sabir listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Sabir is a board certified general surgeon who specializes in bariatric surgery. He completed medical school at Wayne State University and training at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. He also completed a fellowship in laparoscopic bariatric surgery at the University Medical Center of Princeton. Dr. Sabir is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and a fellow of the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Sabir performs the following laparoscopic procedures: adjustable gastric banding, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy. As a general surgeon, he performs gall bladder, appendix, colon, gastrointestinal, skin, and endocrine surgery. Dr. Sabir also performs both lower and upper endoscopy.
