Dr. Paul Kemmeter is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Spectrum Health. Dr. Kemmeter has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 31 of our members have Dr. Kemmeter listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Kemmeter is a Board Certified General Surgeon with additional training in Bariatric Surgery. He dedicates approximately 90% of his practice to Bariatric Surgery. He also has an added certificate in Surgical Critical Care. He was the first physician in Western Michigan to perform Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding and has the most experience in Michigan with the laparoscopic duodenal switch procedure. He and his partners, Drs. Baker, Foote and Nagle, believe in a multidisciplinary approach to weight-loss, which is available at Grand Health Partners.
