Dr. Joshua Long is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in Parker CO. Currently 29 of our members have Dr. Long listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Long joined Parker Adventist hospital after completing his bariatric surgical fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a leader in innovative, minimally invasive surgical training. During his tenure there he participated in the development of novel laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques in addition to mastering laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, laparoscopic roux-en-Y gastric bypass, laparoscopic gastric banding, Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS)TM, robotic surgery, and advanced endoscopy.

He is highly skilled in a full spectrum of surgical and non-surgical weight loss techniques, and places an emphasis on attention to diet, exercise, and nutritional education. He uses this comprehensive strategy to maximize and maintain patient weight loss and the successful resolution of comorbid disease.
