Dr. Mark Hausmann is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Our Lady of Lake Regional Medical Center. Dr. Hausmann is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and has practiced general surgery here in Baton Rouge since 1992. Dr. Hausmann graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and later attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he received his Doctorate of Medicine. Dr. Hausmann completed his general surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Hausmann has been a fellow in the American College of Surgeons since 1995. He also is a member of the American Society of General Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
