Dr. Jack Ditslear is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Community North Hospital. Dr. Ditslear has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 11 of our members have Dr. Ditslear listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Jack Ditslear is a native of Noblesville, Indiana. He graduated with honors in chemistry at Miami University of Ohio and then graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1994. During medical school, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society for Academic Honors. He completed his general surgery residency at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Ditslear is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is on the teaching staff for the Indiana University General Surgery Residency Program. He is an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Association and the Indianapolis Medical Society.
