Arsalla Islam, MD
Dr. Arsalla Islam is one of DFW’s top vascular, endovascular, and bariatric surgeons. She brings more than nine years of surgical experience to the Alliance medical community from two nationally recognized academic programs: Wake Forrest University Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina, and UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Throughout her career she has performed over a thousand
procedures, authored 8 book chapters and 23 peer review articles in international conferences and journals, and served as an instructor for several advanced laparoscopic and vascular ultrasound courses.
Dr. Islam’s wide range of multi-faceted expertise includes surgical treatment for conditions such as morbid obesity, gall bladder disease, hernias, benign and malignant masses, endovascular and open surgical treatment for upper extremity, abdominal, and lower extremity vessels, and arteriovenous fistula creation for dialysis. She and her staff are committed to compassionate patient care.

Today Dr. Islam is excited to be back in Texas as she embarks on a new chapter in her life, starting a private practice in her community. Dr. Islam lives in Keller with her best friend and husband of 14 years. Together they enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and experiencing the joys of raising their three beautiful daughters.
