Dr. Sivamainthan is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in Providence RI. Dr. Sivamainthan has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery.

After directing a successful comprehensive surgical weight loss program in New York, I am currently expanding the Miram Hospital Bariatric Surgery program in a state-of-the art hospital with extensive preop and post op services along with excellent nursing care. Most recently, The Miriam Hospital has been designated a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
