Dr. Orris is a partner and one of the lead surgeons at Weight Loss Institute of Arizona. Dr. Orris attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medinine, and completed his residency at Pinnacle Health in Harrisburg, PA. He earned a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph's University. As a surgeon, he recognized the negative impact that excess weight has on society, and developed a passion for helping patients attain and maintain a healthy body weight. Every year, Dr. Orris successfully performs hundreds of weight loss surgeries. Patients benefit from his years of bariatric surgery experience and the personal intensity he brings to each and every case. With his vast knowledge in the field of bariatric surgery, Dr. Orris is well known for accepting complicated and challenging cases. He is the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Banner Estrella Medical Center in West Phoenix and serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at Midwestern University. Board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, Dr. Orris is also a fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
