Dr. K Kular is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in Ludhiana Punjab India PB. Dr. Kular has 26 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery.

Dr Kular did the first Mini Gastric Bypass surgery in India and is amongst the pioneers of MGB surgery in the world. He has been personally trained by Dr Robert Rutledge (the father of Mini Gastric Bypass), and is the favorite most pupils of Dr Rutledge. Dr Kular has authored numerous publications in the international Bariatric journals like Obesity Surgery Journal, USA. He has written a chapter on Mini Gastric Bypass in Bariatric Surgery text book published by springer USA and printed in London. Dr Kular has operated with Dr Rutledge in different countries of the world including UK, France, Germany, USA and all metropolitan cities of India. Dr Kular, along with Dr Rutledge and Dr. Dietel (Past President, ASMBS, USA and founder editor Obesity Surgery Journal, USA), have trained hundreds of surgeons in Mini Gastric Bypass training courses held by the IFSO (International federation of Surgeons for Obesity) in Paris, Hamburg, Montreal & Vienna. Dr Kular has the rare honor of operating on one of the close family members of Dr Rutledge (the father of Mini Gastric bypass) and has operated on many celebrities from all corners of the world.
