Dr. Wayne Westmoreland is a bariatric and weight loss surgeon located in and affiliated with Cool Springs Surgery Center. Dr. Westmoreland has 16 years of experience performing Lap-Band and other weight loss surgery. Currently 61 of our members have Dr. Westmoreland listed as their Lap Band Surgeon.

Dr. Wayne Westmoreland is a board certified surgeon who has practiced in Murfreesboro for over twenty years. A specialist in general and bariatric surgery, Westmoreland has served in a variety of leadership roles at MTMC and in the medical community over the past years. He now serves as the Medical Director for MTMC’s bariatric program which offers both medical and surgical weight-loss solutions for those suffering from obesity. He is trained in the newest general, bariatric and laparoscopic procedures and maintains traditional approaches and high standards when caring for surgical patients.
