Water whoopsie

I am three days PO and completely forgot I couldn't handle Water like I used to. I was extremely parched and gulped about four to five ounces of water. I didn't vomit, but there was definitely pain that has lingered a bit. Now I'm worried about a leak. Have I already ruined my new tool?

Leaks are almost always discovered before you even leave the hospital. You should be fine. Your pouch is just telling you that you drank too much or too fast.

Just a warning with this: if you drink too much liquid, do not go lie down immediately. This is how I ended up waking up coughing on stomach acid a month after my surgery.

I'm 10 days out and did the same, not 4 ounces but less. I didn't feel anything other than my pouch making some noises, but I went back to sips.
