It's very exciting and very nerve wracking but take a breath and try to relax. All your feelings before and after are normal. You have the tools that will get you through it. Follow the guidance your program is recommending, and you will be fine.

We wouldn't be human if we didn't worry about the unknown. Once I was in the hospital I calmed myself. I was so fed up with the pre op diet, I almost ran to the theatre

I'm hoping everything went well for you. I know you can persevere through the recovery process. Just take things a day at a time and try your best to be patient. My surgery is less than two weeks away, so I too am starting to feel the beginnings of nervousness.

Yeah, done! . So glad it's over. I'm doing well with Protein and liquids. Only problem I have is when I have to take pills. Doing well overall. Thanks for asking.
