Pre-Op Today…

Sitting at hospital waiting on pre-op after having the same meeting earlier today with surgeon. Went over several pages of do’s and don’ts, the 1st week post op through week 3. So much structure and so many supplements and Vitamins. Liquids for 3 weeks… A lot to “digest” (pardon the pun) at once. From the 19th till Jan 1 no chewable food. There goes Christmas along with Thanksgiving…🤣🤣

I asked if putting the turkey + gravy in the blender qualified as liquid diet, got a resounding no..

I am having my sleeve December 22 so there’s goes Christmas for me too! My 16 year old son said … will you still be able to make Christmas dinner Mom?! I said nope you guys all will and I’ll talk you through it! Honestly thought he was gonna cry lol

aww....that is a question i was going to ask my surgeon next week. I had my RNY the 1st. And Thanksgiving is my jam. Oh well, we have to follow orders, we did alot of work to get here.
