Thank you! And yes, I feel like a new man. It’s actually surreal because I just thought I’d always be like I was.

Thanks! I will continue to document the journey and I agree that when you see other people’s stories of success, failures, opportunities and everything in between, it’s really inspirational. I hope I can help a little with that as well.

Thank you! I’m walking at a 15 min mile. So it takes me about 75 mins. I own a treadmill but I walk 99% outside. I’ve found the key is to go on different routes. I sometimes walk downtown, around our park, around my neighborhood or the high school track. I’ve found that walking does wonders for me and not just the calorie burn. I put on my music and just get mental clarity. I highly suggest it if you’re able.

I love to listen to podcasts while I walk. My pace is about 20 min per mile; today was the first day I was actually faster than BEFORE surgery. (2.5 weeks out). I just did a mile though today because I had to get back to pretending to work LOL. I haven't gotten up to 5 miles yet. Two is mostly what I do. I have a lovely path across the street that goes along the river in a loop. I have a treadmill too in case it's too hot or cold or rainy.

Congrats on your success so far! It's very impressive. I'm hoping I get over the difficulties I've had being hungry all the time. It doesn't feel like GERD or head hunger, but I guess it could be.

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
