They are expensive. But thanks for sharing.

Yes they are $40 but it has more of each Vitamin than anything I could find at Walmart that had a pill size I could swallow and the gummies did not agree!

I had my surgery (VSG) on the 1st of September. I’ve been stuck at the same weight now for 2 weeks. What the heck? I feel like I’m already failing. I get enough Protein and Water in, I’m constantly active. I struggle with severe depression and anxiety and I’m afraid that stress is still affecting my hormones like they did pre-surgery. A month after my surgery and I’m only down 10 pounds. I feel like a failure, and like I did this for nothing.

This is totally the "three week stall" that so many people (literally, there's more than 100,000 posts about it just here alone) talk about. It's not always at three weeks and it can last for a little while. Just keep doing your thing and sticking to your plan and it WILL come off. At the end of the day it's calories in vs. calories out and there's no way you're eating enough calories with a VSG to be able to overcome your daily metabolism.

Much more likely that your body has finished dumping its excess Water weight PLUS all the fluids they jam into you during surgery... the stall will break and you will lose weight again.

Aw thanks so much! I’m still learning to navigate this site, so I’ll be sure to do some extra searching of forums that speak on this topic. Thank you for your kind works and input.

Just joined the app and my surgery was September 13th. My liquid diet was 1 week of all liquids: broth, sugar free Jello, Decaf tea, Water, sugar free popsicles and Protein Water. It was the same for a week after. I had a really hard time with the Protein water and couldn’t do it.

I didn't like the protein water either. It felt really chalky and sucked all the water out of my mouth. What are you able to eat/drink now? My surgery was 13Sep too and I'm eating soft foods now. I had taco meat with a tiny bit of cheese and some FF greek yogurt for dinner last night. It was delicious!

Hi All! I just joined this forum. My surgery was Sept. 2nd and man, it's been quite the month. Still not tolerating foods all that great. Or I should say, I am tolerating them but I get so damn full and a little queezy still after just a couple tablespoons that I wonder if I'll ever make it to the regular food stage. It's so hard to get everything that I need in during the day. Anyway, I hope you all are doing well.

Hey Everyone,

My surgery was the 9/21. I have a surgery drain that comes out thus Tues. I feel very uncomfortable. Taste buds are changing. Does anyone else have those anxious freak out moments or the entire day, like what on earth did I do to myself? Today was that day. Feeling very uncomfortable, not interested in eating and freaking out I'm going to lose all my thin not so much hair! It's been a wierd day. Thanks for letting me vent! Lol

I know right! I go see my doctor for the first time after surgery tomorrow. I have had Protein Shakes, broth, some diluted and strained lobster bisque( just needed a little fat) stomach tolerated it okay. Gatorade and I wanted to put some matcha powder in my tea. idk if that will hurt or not. I have very little energy to exercise.

Hey,

Those days are very normal. I went through several myself. Your taste buds will change and adjust as time goes on. I'm a month out and some have gone back but some have stayed different. There were points when I questioned what I did and wished for my old stomach back. It does pass. It took me a good two weeks to feel like a human being again and three weeks to enter the world. Take your time, be good to yourself. Oh, and don't go off of anyone else's timeline. I made that mistake and ended up back in the hospital needing fluids for dehydration. Good luck!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
