Booty and thigh lift tomorrow! Boobies next week!

Recommended Posts

Heyyyy it's yo girl. Got my arrival time for my butt lift and thighplasty tomorrow at 7:30 a.m., then 450cc silicone implants in-office on the 15th! Thus will conclude the plastic surgery journey. Prior to bypass I had a breast reduction w/ full nipple graft breast lift and full body liposuction. Post-bypass I had bra-line excision, arm lift, Tummy Tuck, and soon-to-be butt and thigh lift and implants. AMA! I'm officially an expert. lmao. There's nowhere else for them to nip and tuck!

$$$$$$$$$$$

He was supposed to email me my before and after tummy tuck and arm lift but he forgot. I will post them this week when I remind him at my follow-up Friday.

Awesome results @mousecat88 I hope recovery is going good. Was that 450cc implants or is that total volume? That confused me. My implants are 200cc with 370cc total volume. I assumed the implants were 320cc but it meant total volume. I also had reduction forever ago though. My doctor advised on size. I chose upper pole fullness. Funny thing is a small part of me is like did I not get big enough 🤣 of course the doctor advised size based on my frame and thin skin ... but I digress.
Congratulations on coming to the end of your journey 🧡

I have no clue. lol. I was just told they were 450cc implants. I had NO breast fat so I still have some loose horizontal skin. He had to suture my pec muscles really tight on the right side so it wouldn't migrate to my armpit. This resulted in the right breast looking wider. I don't think I want a revision, though. Not worth it. Everything is still healing and I have some folded skin at my lower back that looks like a second butt crack (lol) that he will have to fix in 5 months just in-office with Lidocaine. I don't think I would do a butt lift again. I'll post before and after photos of all that in 5 months. lol!

I was going to go with 400cc but glad I didn't because then I'd have even more loose skin. My end result is a 34D. I almost wish I went with 500 because maybe it would have filled up ALL the loose skin. I dunno. I had a reduction from a 48H in 2017. That left me at a 46D. Then I lost weight and instead of drooping so much, I had a lot of horizontal skin, which is unusual.

We tend to be most critical of ourselves. The folded skin should smooth out over time. Some folds from my thigh lift have started smoothing out finally.

I don’t have before photos and I haven’t shared after. The only before and after I have are ones my surgeon shared on their website.

I didn’t have much breast tissue I was surprised I had anything, but my breast reduction I had very solid dense breast tissue so whatever was left after weight loss was whatever was left of that and I lost all the fat leaving behind empty skin. I do feel I have some loose skin left also after my augmentation I’m hoping won’t be too much as swelling goes down. I think you have the option to ask for a larger implant once. Although for me I can’t afford the expense to travel and the operating room expenses.

When you have the butt lift alone it can cause issues, I hope your doctor fixes it so that you are happy with the results.

i Find myself seeing some imperfections that I don’t quite know what normal is. I don’t regret my surgeries. I just see things like my knees being a weird shape and looking big. But I think these things take time as we heal and our bodies adapt to the changes.

not to be nosy but what do you measure under bust? Measured tight. Whatever you measure is your bra band size. Rounded up if necessary. Ie. 31” = 32 band size. But I’m fairly certain to get cup size if your bust measures 34” at the fullest for example you’d take 34 - 31 = 3 “ and each inch equals 1 cup size. So this example bra size would be 32C. Although my measurements are weird 25.5” under bust and 32” bust ...

My under bust size measures at a 32" and my bust a 36". I am wearing a 34D (no WAY could a 32 actually fit...), but think a 36D would feel better. I think it will depend on style, etc. I ordered an underwire bra for next month in a 36D and it seems like it will be a good fit.

My surgeon doesn't go all the way to the knee or all the way to the elbow so I notice puffiness at my elbows and knees since there is still loose skin there. BUT, still improved. I'll always be self critical...

I guess it depends on your measurements for you 34D is probably the best size. It should fit snug on the loosest hook. Maybe it’s the brand and style that you have that isn’t comfortable. Have you ever tried Felina bras? They have some very soft comfortable bras they don’t have my size but I’ve bought them from Target (called Paramour on Target) in the past and found them soft and comfortable though some bra bands do run smaller and maybe that’s why you sometimes need to size up a band size (and down a cup size) might have been the convertible back t-shirt bra but they also have a memory foam fit bra. There’s a bogo sale going on.

https://www.target.com/p/paramour-women-s-sensational-convertible-back-t-shirt-bra/-/A-52430696?preselect=52947619#lnk=sametab

Another comfortable one is Target brand Auden Bliss wire free bra.

I will always be very self critical. I’m trying to not be but it’s always there. I’m noticing my knees and loose skin on my calves. And my there was so much loose skin removed from my backside but has the natural laxity returns I see flaws I wish I could change. But I’m also looking where I didn’t look before because I didn’t want to see. Because the sagging skin was so bad. Do I even know what a normal body is.

So I guess after gastric bypass surgery, I cant eat flock chips because they are fried???  They sell them on here so I thought I could have them. So high in protein and no carbs.  They don't bother me at all.  Help.

It's possible for a very high fat meal to cause dumping in some (30% or so) gastric bypass patients, although it's more likely to be triggered by high sugar, or by the high fat/high sugar combo (think ice cream, donuts). Dietitians will tell you to never do anything that isn't 100% healthy ever again. Realistically, you should aim for a good balance of protein, carbs, and fat each day. Should you eat fried foods every day? No. Is it possible they will make you sick? Maybe. Is it okay to eat some to see what happens and have them for a treat every now and again? Yes.

I'm not at all hungry on this liquid pre-op diet, but I miss the sensation of chewing. It's been about two weeks––surgery is in two days––and I can't imagine how I'll feel a couple of weeks post-op. Tonight, I randomly stumbled upon a mukbang channel on YouTube, and it was strangely soothing... is it just me, or is this a thing?

I actually watched cooking shows during my pre-op, like Great British Baking Show. It was a little bizarre, but didn't make me hungry. I think it was also soothing in a way.

How do you figure out what your ideal weight should be? I've had a figure in my head for years, but after 3 mths of recovery I'm already almost there. So maybe my goal should be lower?

Well, there is actually a formula for "Ideal Body Weight" and you can use a calculator to figure it out for you. This one also does an adjusted weight for a person who starts out overweight or obese. https://www.mdcalc.com/calc/68/ideal-body-weight-adjusted-body-weight

I would use that as a starting point, and then just see how you feel as you lose. How you look and feel is more important than a number.

      2. Clueless_girl

I did find different calculators but I couldn't find any that accounted for body frame. But you're right, it is just a number. It was just disheartening to see that although I lost 60% of my excess weight, it's still not in the "normal/healthy" range..

      3. NickelChip

I think it's important to remember that the weight charts and BMI ranges were developed a very long time ago and only intended to be applied to people who have never been overweight or obese. Those numbers aren't for us. When you are larger, especially for a long time, your body develops extra bone to support the weight. Your organs get a little bigger to handle the extra mass. Your entire infrastructure increases so you can support and function with the extra weight. That doesn't all go away just because you burn off the excess fat. If you still had a pair of jeans from your skinniest point in life and then lost weight to get to the exact number on the scale you were when those jeans fit you, chances are they would be a little baggy now because you would actually be thinner than you were, even though the scale and the BMI chart disagree. When in doubt, listen to the jeans, not the scale!

Tomorrow marks two weeks since surgery day and while I'm feeling remarkably well and going about just about every normal activity, I did wind up with a surface abscess on on of my incision sights and was put on an antibiotic that made me so impacted that it took me more than two hours to eliminate yesterday and scared the hell out of me. Now there's Miralax in all my beverages that aren't Smooth Move tea. I cannot experience that again. I shouldn't have to take Ativan to go to the lady's. I really looking forward to my body getting with the program again.
I'm in day three of the "puree" stage of eating and despite the strange textures, all of the savory flavors seem decadent.
I timed this surgery so that I'd be recovering during my spring break. That was a good plan. Today is a state holiday and the final day of break. I feel really strong to return to school tomorrow.

Now that I'm in maintenance mode, I'm getting a into a routine for my meals. Every day, I start out with 8-16 ounces of water, and then a proffee, which I have come to look forward to even the night before. My proffees are simply a black coffee with a protein powder added. There are three products that I cycle through: Premier Vanilla, Orgain Vanilla, and Dymatize Vanilla.
For second breakfast on workdays, I will have a low-fat yogurt with two tablespoons of PBFit and two teaspoons of no sugar added dried cherries. I will have ingested 35-45 grams of protein at this point between the two breakfasts, with 250-285 calories, and about 20 carbs.
For second breakfast on non-workdays, I will prepare two servings of plain, instant oatmeal with a tablespoon of an olive oil-based spread. This means I will have had 34 grams of protein, 365 calories, and 38 carbs. Non-workdays are when I am being very active with training sessions, so I allow myself more carbohydrate fuel.
Snacks on any day are always mixed nuts, even when I am travelling. I will have 0.2 cups of a blend that I make myself. It consists of dry roasted peanuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, pistachios, and Brazil nuts. This is 5 grams of protein, 163 calories, and 7 carbs.
Breakfast and snacks have been the easiest to nail down. Lunch and dinner have more variables, and I prepare enough for leftovers. I concentrate on protein first, and then add vegetables. Typically tempeh, tofu, or Field Roast products with roasted or sautéed vegetables. Today, I will be eating leftovers from last night. Two ounces of tempeh with four ounces of roasted vegetables that consist of red and yellow sweet peppers, sweet potatoes, small purple potatoes, zucchini, and carrots. I will add a tablespoon of olive oil-based spread, break up 3 walnuts to sprinkle of top, and garnish with two tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese. This particular meal will be 19 grams of protein, 377 calories, and 28 grams of carbs. Bear in mind that I do eat more carbs when I am not working, and I focus on ingesting healthy carbs instead of breads/crackers/chips/crisps.
It's a helluva journey and I'm thankful to be on it!
