wishmesmaller I purchased some on the advise on another forum. they have Breakfast flavors oatmeal, appled cinnamon. the prices are good on their site and Walmart has a sale. Stay encouraged and thank you

My surgeon says no to Premier Protein because the Protein is not a protein isolate😢 So 5 more days of the nasty stuff. I have gotten this far without cheating, so pretty sure I got this, thanks in part to all the encouragement here. I also started a day early because I wanted to start on a day off rather than a Monday, so I am 10 days in. Just a bit jelly of your haul😊 I like premier Protein Shakes. We have had them around for quick meals for years. Wishing you a wonderful pre-op diet, buddy!

2nd day of pre-op liquid diet. Boy does that exhaustion come from out of nowhere. The headache isn't helping either. Feels like dehydration, but I am downing Water like it's going out of style.

I'm so excited...moving my surgery from 8/17 to 7/28, so officially a July sleever! Trying to prep everything I can think of and start my pre-op diet in 2 weeks. Two weeks Protein Shakes and Clear Liquids only beginning 7/14. I am so happy to read everyone's experiences so I can adjust my expectations.

Push thru.. by day 4 you will be feeling much better. You are probably dealing with some withdrawals from sugar or caffeine:) That was my worst day. Today is day 7- down almost 10lbs. Have good energy and finished all my preop testing this morning. Except COVID that’s Monday... you got this. I was allowed to take meds for the headache like Tylenol and allege but sure if you are but it did help.

I agree the second day I slept for 12 hrs that night and had to force myself out of bed. I haven’t done that since my early 20’s. Lol . But I am on day 9 and I feel pretty good. I still have hunger and head hunger but other then that I am good. Hopefully you feel better soon you got this !

Glad to hear I'm not the only one freaking a bit out due to gaining 5-7 Corona pounds. I decided to start my liquid fast early as well and dropped about 11 lbs in a week. The past few days no change on the scale though. Hopefully it will pick up again so that I'll be sure to have a nice and shrunken liver 😅

So today was supposed to be my last scheduled day at work but I decided to go in for half day tomorrow so I could get a few last minute stuff that I still have to do so I don’t leave any of my job duties on my co worker. Well I realized when I was saying I was coming in to my boss that I only have 5 days until my surgery. Wow now it seems to be flying. I feel like I went from saying that this two week diet was never going to end to oh my gosh it’s almost over and it’s surgery time. I’m getting nervous and excited all at the same time and a little afraid of failing also. Like what if it doesn’t work? Oh my I guess I need to stop stressing. Good night all!

So I thought my July 23 surgery would be cancelled because Travis County, Texas, where my doctor's office is located, cannot have elective surgeries due to COVID. It turns out my hospital is in Williamson County, so I'm still on... but the governor is adding counties to the elective surgery ban as their hospital beds near capacity. Williamson County borders Travis County, so I'm proceeding as usual for now but my surgery might get cancelled at any time. I'm supposed to start my pre-op diet in a week.
