I'll be at two weeks on Tuesday. I have no problem drinking anything, I can drink A LOT. I can also eat a lot more than I expected, but I'm being careful not eating until I'm full. I have just yet to feel a restriction.

Normal?

I'm assuming you're still at mush food? I think once you start eating more solid food you'll feel more restriction. That being said, so many people had me so scared about certain foods and so far I can eat almost anything. The ONLY thing I've had a problem with is eating too quickly when I'm not paying attention. It happened again tonight. Taking to a friend as we were playing cards and was eating my crab and a few minutes after finishing, it came right back up. I also don't tolerate creamy Soup, I think for the same reason. They go down too fast and then I feel sweaty and hot and nauseous but bc they're liquids there's really nothing left to throw up as it's already went down the tubes so to speak lol.

Bottom line, you'll learn you best. Take it slowly!

Uhm, are you talking about yourself? Just curious because your profile said you had surgery in 2013 & are 175 😂 God bless!

Yes, I had a sleeve to RNY revision on 2/11/20 due to GERD.

two things going on: 1) nerves were cut during surgery - it takes them awhile to start regenerating 2) I assume you're still on purees. You'll feel more once you move to solid food

Hey there @catwoman7 is spot on in advice. I am one of those people who like you could drink loads right out of the gate. Also while eating I had to stop looking fir the full feeling as my signal. I have learned that my full signal tends to happen 15+ mins after I finish eating. No one told me it could be delayed that long. So I ate by portion size early on. Try that and eat & drink S L O W L Y. It really does make a difference.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
