Why are you considering rny or plastics? To lose more weight?
Have you tried tweaking your diet? You may be able to lose more weight without revising your surgery

I personally would not consider plastics unless I was happy with my weight and stable for awhile.

Give us more info and we will try to help you with your questions. Are you still sticking to your eating plan?

I wouldn't consider plastics until you've been at or close to goal weight for 6 months to a year. It doesn't seem like you've given it enough time yet to even consider a revision. I would get back to the basics and on track with your eating and try to lose more before I'd make any decisions. Good luck whatever you decide.

I agree with everyone else - go back to basics. Protein first, then non-starchy vegetables. Weigh/measure and track your food. It's too early to consider plastics (plus they don't really do plastics for weight loss, that I'm aware of - they Lipo sometimes for small, stubborn fat deposits and/or to even things out, but to make people lose weight - no, not really...). And normally revisions are done for medical reasons. I'd give it another shot - you could probably drop more weight if you really buckled down.

Would you qualify for a revision at this weight or does your BMI have to be higher? Would this be self-pay?

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
