@Mgalind9 welcome to the November family here . you have a nice pre op and only for one week wow . it's strange how it varies depending on your doctor ….. well no need to ask if you are excited because I know we all are . i'm November 11 .Welcome !!!!!!!!!!! you are an only child so far on your date but that's okay we are all here for you …………..

Saw surgeon yesterday. Picked up pre-op diet stuff. Start it on Monday! ITS HAPPENING!

yes it is !! I felt just that way last week when I saw my surgeon .. Pre op is not as bad as I've read ….we got this

HeeeeeeYYYYY Girl ...where you been? you just found out? you should have beeeen in the family.... You my buddy girl . you excited ,ready nervous ,daydreaming,nightdreaming, waking up in the morning with it being the first thing on your mind like me ???lol Check out the calendar im getting ready to add you!!!

Oh I’m feeling all those things. I started my preop diet today which is liquids and I’m finding out Protein Shakes are hard for me which makes me nervous. I’ve got to find one I like so far I haven’t really liked any I have tried. 10 days!! It’s getting so close!

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
