Well, spent the night at Bariatric Pal hospital. I’m set for surgery at 9am. I’m very excited. The nurse and concierge came in and told me that I am ready to go. So, now I just wait.

Hi! I'm a newbie here! I just found out yesterday my VSG will be Oct 28. Reality is starting to settle in! Great to find this forum. I used ones in the past for ankle surgery and hysterectomy. Wishing all October surgery buddies nothing but the best!

October folks, how is everyone doing? I was Oct 1. Did okay the first day truly wondered if I had surgery. Now I'm back from hospital and having major pain. I had to sleep sitting up last night and on my back only can't sleep on the stomach or side. I'm still up 10 lbs from surgery. I went in weighing 284 now I'm 294. bummer..I know it will go away. I didn't have any gas pain and I have 6 incisions.....
