I go in on 8/2/19 and have been hitting the gym 3 times a week.. My question is should I let me body rest 1 week or 2 days before the surgery.. Since this site is for post o.o what are some things you would of done diff or the same but what is it that you did..

I didn’t have any restrictions leading up to surgery. I imagine I could have gone for a run that day, except that I was on a liquid diet and too tired 🤣

I've discovered one the main things I had to learn during this process was listening to my body. It will tell you "go or don't go","exercise or rest", "eat or don't eat anymore", "drink now or wait".

Exercise or not...just saying from my POV.

"You got this"

Today was a really tough day and I turned to food (and a watered down glass of wine). The interesting part was that I felt REALLY full after eating half my go to cheat snack, tortilla chips with cheese. So the GBP is doing its job!

The only way I can tell that I'm losing weight is from the scale and my clothes "getting bigger".

I can now buy clothes in normal stores again. Admittedly the first time when I started trying on clothes, I really had to keep myself calm. Normally trying on clothes causes me to become SOOO depressed that it take weeks just to get over it. Now, I have to keep myself from not wanting to buy everything!

Right?! It’s an amazing, freeing feeling.
