2 week PreOp Liquid Diet Pics

Recommended Posts

Day 1 Someone take the wheel 🤦🏾‍♀️ It’s really challenging with kids out of school for the summer and eating every 6 seconds 🙄. But I just keep reminding myself this is to shrink my liver and that my life is about to change. Anywho, here is a picture of my dinner. chicken broth with half a teaspoon goya Adobo seasoning, sugar free Jello, sugar free drink. Following it up with a strawberry P P shake. Caramel has been my favorite flavor so far but this strawberry isn’t half bad. Any tips or liquid diet hacks/recipes?

Good luck on your journey. I know what you mean about kids and eating. Can you drink Protein Drinks? I find Ensure max to be somewhat filling, I add ice as I drink it slowly. The Max has 30 g. Protein and 150 cal 1 g sugar. I can't eat or drink artificial sweaters, they give me a Migraine so I just go low or without. Will miss my sweet tea most.

lunch @ McDonald’s with my kids. This is not really hard as I gave up fast food awhile back. Decaf black coffee mixed with shake. I might try Ensure Max to get a taste of new flavors, sounds good!

      RE: the running/training
Honestly it started with me just doing laps around the kitchen that first post-op week.
In a week, I graduated to walking up and down my street, then to walking around the block every day.
The distance increased, then the speed.
Then I started running little spurts during my walks, then to alternating 1km runs with 1km walks.
And now I can do a continuous 10k (which I totally did for the first time this morning...so full of myself about it today, it’s disgusting.)
Just do something everyday and slowly increase speed and duration, next thing you know you’ll be one of those odd “running people” (who I never understood pre-op, but now totally get, lol)

Happy Sunday! I like weird people. Normal people are boring! :) I began following you and wanted to know if there are any other members you would recommend? My surgery is 8/29/19 and I want to learn as much as possible. Have a great day and thanks so much for the website.
