Postive Self Talk

Recommended Posts

We can be the harshest person to ourselves. We get enough negative from those around at times and it we are not positive we may believe their lies. We get upset our letting our body and health get so bad. We lose weight then it's the loose skin and things we have to work out in or lives even emotionally. Try to keep this post in mind and speak positive everyday. Get going tell us great things about you.72b7180ac2fbb6d7a4aad9e1efd710d4.jpeg

And I am a willing slave to Squeaky and Cassie! Squeaky is on my lap right now, told her " Mommy Human has to leave in a few minutes" she looked at me like " So What!" She is the Sun, Tomkitten and I are just planets that revolve around her. And she feels that's just the way things have to be. I should have her self-confidence, I would have informed Late Husband I was going to have Bariatric Surgery, because our then- insurance covered it and had my surgery at 40 or 50. Instead I stayed brow-beaten, sub-servient and didn't burp without his permission, that's how girls in the 40s, 50s and into the early 60s were raised! A MRS was the only desirable degree to get and up,inever bucked the tradition. I was grossly unfair to ME! And now look what the Real Me is, strong, an individual who can and does stand on her own two feet, and I settled for so little then. Why'why-why? Nobody respected me for ut!

I so understand the delima I was 17yrs when I got married been with the same man for 34yrs. He treats me just like that. I even carry is food to him in the man's cave (as they like to call it). I had surgery on my thumb in January wasn't supposed use it for 6weeks. He got tired working and coming home and having to take care of cooking. He brought food home one day and threw food on the table and said there it is. It definitely was a different time and for some us a do it to the end kind of girl but we do need that respect and love ourself enough to speak up in confidence. Glad you have come a long way and learned that your special too. Glad you have your fur babies.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
