You know the answer. Smoking is never good at any stage. If you really want to get healthy you need to give it up permanently.Dont let that 1 cigarette become the first of many

I spent years with horrendous acid reflux... smoking causes acid reflux, Barrett’s esophagus and ulcers... it’s two fold for WLS patients... please dont!!

I've never smoked, but I heard the surgeon talking about how important it is to stop smoking in order to have WLS, so I assume it's a big deal. Please try to quit smoking and good luck with your WLS journey.

I did the surgery already in April. But when I stressed before smoking helped. I did have 3 cigarettes. 2 from my mom and one from a cousin. I didn’t buy anything’. Is there any smokers out there. That did wls

I know it's hard, but PLEASE don't smoke! You just went through hell to get healthy, don't sabotage your own efforts!

I know it's difficult to give up if you've been addicted but every bad effect from smoking is even worse for WLS patients. Please, for the sake of your health that you went through your surgery to improve, do everything you can to stop smoking permanently. Do not let yourself believe that it's okay to continue or start smoking again.

We all know smoking is bad and you should not ever do it, but this is your life and YOU need to decide if the pleasure you get from smoking is worth the cost of your overall health.

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
