Pre OP liquid diet

I just started my 2 week pre OP liquid diet today (rny Jan 8th) and I AM STARVING, does this get any easier? I'm starting to have regret and I'm only on day 1! I'm so hungry I could cry

It does get easier! I assume you are also allowed non starchy vegetables? If so, make sure you are eating the maximum allowed, it will help give you a more satisfied feeling.

I don't think I could have dealt with 2 weeks of just liquids. Luckiky I get to do 2 Protein Shakes and 2 meals (3-5oz meat and 1/2-1c non starchy vegetables). Also 64oz fluids.

I'm on my 4th day of liquid diet, and I'm only allowed 3 Protein Drinks, 64 oz. Water, and 1 optional sugar-free Jello container a day. I can add crystal light to my water if I want, but that's it. I've lost 9 pounds in 3 full days, but I'm famished!! I'm ready for it to get better too. I keep telling myself that I'm giving my surgeon plenty of room to work! Lol Also, in the scheme of things, 2 weeks is a pretty small price to pay for a healthier life afterward.

Hang in there with me!!! We'll make it.
