Someone at work told me they hardly recognized me today and I can see why! (Also- I promise to never go blonde again! 😂😂)

Wow, huge difference! You've lost your double chin entirely! And your cheekbones are becoming more pronounced!

It is! It’s especially nice to compare right now, as I’ve been in a stall since week 3 (might be coming out of it just now...) so it’s nice to see that even if the scale isn’t moving, *something* is still happening to make a difference!

The right picture is December, 3 months before my surgery and the left picture is beginning of August, almost 5 months after my sleeve. Down 90+ lbs!

Wow, what a difference! Your face has really slimmed down!

I’m only 11 weeks post op now. I still don’t see too much of a difference but I’m down 57 lbs (32 since surgery). The left pic is the day of surgery, the right was yesterday (before putting on my makeup). I guess I have a neck and more defined cheekbones now, lol. You all look awesome

It's hard for me to see any difference in myself as well. I compare pics and they all look the same to me. I can see the difference in your pics for sure. Your face and chin are more defined and your neck as well. Great job on your loss, keep up the great work.

@ALFxRNY Your jawline is definitely more defined as well as your temple area. (I notice that area because I was so happy when my glasses no longer left dents down the side of my face! :))

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
