I just bought a wig topper this week! It's really nice. Looks very natural and was about $180. I'm still losing a ton of hair but at least I have my confidence back... for now! I lose the most hair after washing it so i only wash it once a week.

It looks great! I have really fine thin hair due to pcos and genetics. Thinking about getting one before I go back to work. Where did you get yours?

I went to a place that specializes in wigs for chemo patients. All in it cost $230 (including shampoo/conditioner/moisturizer). Well worth it! I love it and it looks so natural :)

When ever I see posts like these, I nervously read in hopes I find someone that hasn't lost any hair. Did any of you take Qsymia as a diet pill/weight loss effort before surgery? I took it for a couple years and my hair thinned quite a bit. I wonder if it was the pill or the sudden weight loss at the time. Also, during my Divorce, my hair looked bad. Stress is a huge trigger. My hair is finally full and closer to it's natural state than it's been in years. @Roxine - your hair looks beautiful. I'd definitely pay $230 if necessary too. Glad you found a solution. Recently I heard that it's not so much the rapid weight loss that causes Hair loss but more so the anesthesia in the hospital during surgery. Something about how the anesthesia basically turns your hair follicles dormant and then 4-6 months later the loss starts and is so sudden because you're not losing and regrowing monthly like normal, healthy people. I'm not sure if I understood all that correctly and if there are some medical articles to support it. But, it was terrifyingly interesting.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
