Mine is scheduled for April 20th.

This is my first surgery ever and I'm so scared and freaking out about everything right now. I've been diagnosed with diabetes and PCOS, so I keep telling myself I'm doing it for my health and don't allow myself to have second thoughts. I'll just make it through and things will get better, I know that.

Congratulations Nisha and welcome. I'm one of the waiters I'm hoping for surgery, a RnY in May, but I love all you sleevers too. Our innards may get rearranged a little differently but we are co journeryers on the Weigh Loss Trail. Where did you have your surgery at and how are you feeling? Thank you frust8. (Loving the name). I had my procedure done at Abington Hospital in PA. To be honest, I'm a ball of emotions. Happy that I'm finally finished the surgery part but still wondering if i made the right decision. (Too late to turn back now). Physically I'm not in pain (unless i bend from the waist. Ouch). I guess I'm just ready for the healing part to be over with. I'm ready to get to my new normal because if i drink another Protein Shake i might die. Lol

Yes, its very realistic. Get into the habit of doing some cardio to help you meet that goal.

I don’t have a liquid diet at all. But no carbs just lean Proteins in measure quantities. Starting tomorrow for April 24th surgery. Yay!

Hello everyone, I live in San Antonio Texas. My husband and I are diving in this together. We had our consult on April 6. We were told that we had the “Cadillac of insurance plans” and the only requirements were a nutrition consult and a psych evaluation. No waiting period. I was expecting a lot of requirements and waiting. But since that isn’t the case, I’m a little scared. It’s moving very quickly. One minute I’m thinking of backing out, the next I wanna be on the operating table already. I’ve had a lap band that failed and had to be removed so I’m a little scared of going through similar problems again (It was a nightmare). I’m hoping for insurance approval in the next week or 2.
