Recommended Posts

After a huge stall I got a sinus infection and bronchitis and lost 6 lbs! I am curious how everyone is doing on their journey. Please post before and after pics, it doesn't matter what stage you are in. My start weight before pre op 392, day of surgery 388 and today 249. My goal is under 200. Blessings!20180211_073127.jpg

First...Congratulations on your weight loss!!! I reached a stall back in September when I started weightlifting. So I fluctuate between 190 - 195 lbs since. However, it has toned areas that were once sagging and loose. It also is helping to not have to spend that much money on reconstructive surgery.

Congrats! You are doing great !
I just made it to Onederland (199) my highest weight ever was around 270. I began this process at around 250 and on surgery day (11/7/17) I was 238. IMG_20180211_101735.jpg IMG_20180211_101804.jpg

Tealael you are just as pretty as all your postings. It is great to see the woman behind it all. Enjoy onederland i-I hope to join you there someday, my goal is to be a 15-16 and weigh in the neighborhood of 175. I'm a long way off but feel I have the resolve to see it thru. Thank you for sharing your pictures.

I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far!
It's been a bit of a struggle this last week...I'm hungry ALL the time.

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
