Does anyone else have horizon bcbs of NJ that is trying to get cleared for gastric sleeve surgery?

I'm not covered by Horizon BCBS, but I'm covered by a union that uses the BCBS of Illinois network. This week is my 6th of 7 total visits required by my insurance provider. They aren't covered. It did seem stupid to have to go through six months of dieting with a doctor watching over my shoulder, when I've basically been doing that for the past 10 years since my endocrinologist diagnosed my PCOS, but I've learned a lot about coping with my food impulses and it's been good to have the dietician look over my food and exercise logs.

I have anthem bcbs which requires 6 months. I’ve heard that some insurance companies actually need it to be at least 180 days. Is that true?

I also have PCOS, that’s why I am getting surgery. Can’t wait to feel normal for once

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
