Left abdomen pain 4 weeks out

Hello everyone. I had my RNY bypass on December 8th and I am feeling great and have lost almost 30lbs already . I was just curious if anyone else is or had experienced soreness on their left side near their large entry point for surgery. I know that this was going to be the longest to heal but I just wanted to see when it might go away. Sometimes the soreness goes to my back directly behind where it is sore on the front. It’s weird. I am 4 weeks out today and am having pain. It had totally resolved and I was feeling great until last week and now I am having a stabbing, tearing pain on the left side near the large incision site. I can barely stand up straight. I had something similar when I was sleeved and was told it was a stitch. I called my Dr. yesterday and he said it could be the same thing again. If not better by Friday, I have to let him know.

The knot under the main incision site is the last to heal. I am almost 5 years out now and it is completely gone. Even after a couple years, I was wondering if it would ever go away.

I had this. My pain had pretty well resolved and then around the four week mark this started. I did some research online and it seemed a lot of ppl experienced similar pain that could be related to muscles/nerves. It was a burning and tearing pain deep under my largest incision, for me on the right. This lasted about ten days and is now resolved thank goodness.
