I think you are correct, drinking all my fluids has been my biggest problem. Prior to surgery I drank at least 80oz with no problem. Now I'm lucky to get in 36oz. Not using a straw is making it difficult for me.. any suggestions?!?

Yes I'm 66 but I've always had nice skin.. but I guess dropping 59lbs 6 months has something to do with it... I really think I'm not drinking enough Water, I was always a big water drinker.. need to make more of an effort!

Yes hopefully it helps! I drink water but not 80 ounces more like 24 on a good day. And it took me about a year until I could drink a cup of water at a sitting. I had to wait until my stomach stretched. I used to be able to take small sips only so I was never able to drink anywhere close to 80 ounces! And then you have to wait 30 mins after a meal to drink and then eating every 3 hours like omg how do u get that much water in and eat?! It probably would be good for my skin too. But maybe I'll just have to wait till able to afford skin surgery.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
