@@brather eggs have been really hard for me since my surgery and I used to eat eggs several times a week. I'm 4 months out now and I can have one poached egg every couple of weeks, but that's all. Sorry, but it's not all that uncommon :(

Pre-surgery, I loved eggs. Post-surgery, they became revolting to me. I'm two months out and back to the point where I can eat half a hard boiled egg, or about half of a scrambled egg, but only a few times a week.

I am so excited because I get to try a scrambled egg this Sunday. I hope I don't have a bad reaction to it. I have always loved eggs, and if they will work for me, it is going to be the first step back to some sense of a new normalcy for me. I'll have to remember to take it super slow.

I couldn't do hot eggs but I could do egg salad, very mushed.

Today was my first day of purée foods and I ate some scrambled eggs and now I'm miserable. I feel like I need to vomit. Anybody else have an experience like this?

You says "eggs" how much did you have and how were they prepared?

My surgeon said that a lot of her patients can't tolerate eggs until after they are on solid food for a while. Even though they're "soft" some people just don't tolerate them well during the soft/puree phase. She suggested if I had issues (which I did) to try again later (which I have, and everything's fine now).

I was so looking forward to a scrambled egg but half way through I finally found out what the foamies are. I tried again with an sunny side up egg and ate it slow with no issues but still hesitant on eggs. They used to be a favorite.

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
