I went ahead and went to Mexico for the surgery. It was five thousand dollars including my airfare. While I was unhappy with some aspects of the surgery there, I am satisfied with the surgery.

I have UHC as well. My Optum nurse said that it would take 15 days to get approval. She said right now they are busy and I should expect that it will take the full 15 days. I currently have a date of 12/2 scheduled pending the approval.
