Onederland I can't believe it!

Recommended Posts

I just made it to onederland last week myself so I know how you feel!

I cried when I saw the number too. I also started in the 300's, so I thought I'd never see a 1 again in front of my weight.

It's a wonderful feeling isn't it? You enjoy your accomplishment, you deserve it!!

So you're thinking you want your goal weight to be 180? That's what I originally thought too, but now that I'm in the 190's, I think I could go lower than that. Is that how you feel too?

I got up on the scale this morning and the scale said 198.4. I felt like crying because I never thought I'd make it to the infamous Onderland. If any of you that know me and remember my last posts last year. I didn't think anyone in the 3s would make it to the 1s. I had doubts because I started this journey at 342. I still have 18 more pounds to get to goal, but I was just super excited and wanted to share with you all.

How long it take u to get there?

Well 180 is the goal the Dr set for me. I'd actually like to get down to 160. But if I go no further than 180 I'd be ok because that would still be the smallest I've ever been in my teen and adult life. Congrats on your accomplishment too, by the way

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
